THE COMPACT EDITION OF THE OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY: Complete text reproduced micrographically, 2 volumes in slipcase, magnifying glass included. Very good condition. $25.
Coaching Days of England: "Containing an Account of whatever was most remarkable for Grandeur, Elegance and Curiosity in the time of the Coaches of England, comprehending the years 1750 until 1850," Paul Elek Productions, Ltd., London, c. 1966. Very large book with 24 beautiful full-page color plates and 196 illustrations by a range of artists; also includes selections from famous writers, such as Fielding, Boswell, Austen. Interior is excellent; dust jacket has a few tears. A superb historical album. $25.
Korean Spirit and Culture, Volumes I thru VII, published by the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project, c. 2008-2011. The titles are ADMIRAL YI SUN-SIN, KING SEJONG THE GREAT, CHUNG-HYO-YE, FIFTY WONDERS OF KOREA VOL. 1 and 2, MASTER WONHYO, and THE PRACTICE OF HONGIK INGAN. Vintage "Life" magazines from 1936 and 1937. The first "Life" under TIME founder Henry Luce was issued November 23, 1936; we have Nov. 30 through Dec. 28, 1936, and Jan. 4 through Nov. 1937 except for four issues. Very good condition for their age! The 1936 issues are $10 each; the 1937 issues are $7 each.
