Read anything good lately? Want to share it with others? Not sure what to read next?
Spread your excitement for your favorite book, graphic novel, blog, newspaper, magazine or other written word while gaining recommendations from others. Join us for Speed-Reads, a fast-paced reading recommendation group!
Over the course of an hour, participants will have a chance to have up to 15 face-to-face exchanges about reading of all kinds. Each pair will be given 4-5 minutes to talk and then on to the next person. But, don’t worry! No book reports or quizzes here! Just fun conversation about your favorite reads, and ice breaker questions are provided. Walk away having shared your absolute favorites while creating a new must-read list.
After the event, the most talked about reads will be listed on the Barrington Public Library blog. Join us at the Barrington Public Library on Sunday, March 25th at 2:00 PM for an afternoon of conversations about reading – whatever your definition of reading may be!
This program is free and open to all. Light refreshments served.
