4th Annual Peeps Diorama Contest

It's that time again! Create a diorama using peeps as the main focus. It MUST be based on a book, book title or scene from a book. One entry per family or individual. Please do not put your name on the diorama. Prize packs will be awarded to the top three with the most votes. Prizes will include gift cards to local businesses and other small surprises.

Criteria for judging will include (but not be limited to): Originality, creativity and overall presentation. 

BPL Chess Night

BPL Chess Night will meet on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and is facilitated by Eduardo Paguaga. We will provide a friendly environment for chess players of all levels to gather for casual play. Boards and sets will be provided.

Eduardo Paguaga is a chess enthusiast, active tournament player, a scholastic tournament director and board member of the the Southeast New England Chess Association (SENECA). 

Census2020 Information Sessions

April 1st will be the kickoff for this year’s decennial census. Census data are used to reapportion seats in the House of Representatives and to draw legislative districts for state and local governments, ensuring fair political representation. Census data are used annually to allocate almost $800 billion ($3.8 billion for Rhode Island) in federal programs and resources to states and localities.
