Becorn Reception and Building Workshop

Join us on Monday, November 29 at 6:30 pm for the closing reception of the art exhibit “Becorns: Woodland World of Wonder” by David M Bird.

David will give a behind the scenes peek at how he creates characters out of natural materials and entices animals to interact with them. We will then have an interactive workshop where you can build a Becorn of your own! All materials will be provided - just bring your imagination! Adult supervision is required for little ones when building the Becorns.

Hear the tales. Eat the bugs: Meet Entomophagist, David Gracer:

OUTSIDE! Gracer, an entomophagy (bug eating) expert gives a pretty good case for making a wider use of bugs. He’s eating them to save the planet, not to make a buck. Listen to his humorous but thoughtful ideas. And eat a bug while you're at it. Or, not! Have a bug you'd like identified? Take a picture and ask Dave! Or bring it! We won't eat it. We promise. You can check out his website, here, for more information on Gracer.  FOR GRADES 6 thru 12. Get a virtual raffle ticket for coming!

Sounds & Skewers with Emmett and Will: Take Two!

Listen to local jazz musicians Emmett Van Leer and Will Medeiros play as a piano and sax duo at the gazebo.  The two high school-aged musicians have played across the state many times throughout the past couple years in styles ranging from funk fusion, to swing, to the more avant-garde.  Snacks on skewers will be served.  Please register!  Social distancing will be in place and masks must be worn when necessary.
