Birding at Mount Hope Farm (Bristol)

Barrington Public Library and Ocean State Bird Club have partnered to offer three spring bird walks in the East Bay from April through June. The second walk will be held at Mount Hope Farm in Bristol.

Mount Hope Farm provides woodland, field, pond, and coastal habitats. We will walk the trails in search of spring migrants and returning, as well as year-round residents. Led by Lauren Parmelee.

Bring binoculars and insect repellent and wear footwear appropriate for trail walking. Heavy rain cancels the walk. Easy and level walking. Children ages 7 and older are welcome.

Register below or call 401.247.1920 x2.

Meeting location:
We will meet at the trail head at the parking lot.

Directions:
The main entrance to Mount Hope Farm is at 250 Metacome Ave. We are not meeting at the main entrance. If you are heading south on Rt. 136 there is a second entrance on your left (just past the main entrance), it is an unmarked gap in the fence. Follow the driveway all the way back to the parking lot.
