Reflections in Rhode Island

Reflections in Rhode Island is a multi-media production based on the life stories of senior citizens currently living in the East Bay.

The script and production was awarded a RISCA grant in 2016, allowing it to be performed in theatres, senior centers, and libraries around the East Bay.

The oral history begins in 1913 sharing detailed accounts of birth, school, life styles, weather, and the devastatig effects of WWII with the ensuing immigrations. Filled with music, videos, photos, and home movies from 1920, this production is a moving and fascinating story of the century before.

It was created as a loving tribute to the elders who formed the foundation of the lives we now lead and honors those still living with us.

Performances at the library will be held Saturday, Oct. 7 & Sunday, Oct. 8 at 2 pm.

Sponsored by Barrington 300.

Event Location:
Salem Family Auditorium (Second Floor)
