Reading in the Kitchen: a Cookbook Club

A book club for those who like to read cookbooks and enjoy a community meal.

The group meets monthly on the third Monday night of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a dish to share from that month’s cookbook and their own table setting. 

Registration is required. This group cannot accommodate drop-ins.

This month's cookbook theme is restaurant chef, Thomas Keller of the famed French Laundary. Cookbooks with the titles: 

  • The French Laundry Cookbook (1999) *winner of IACP's cookbook award
  • Ad Hoc at Home: Family-Style Recipes (2009) *winner of the James Beard Book Award for general cooking
  • Bouchon Bakery (2012) *winner IACP award for food photography and styling
