Join librarian Doug Swiszcz for another of his lecture series on classic movies, this one a salute to actor Sidney Poitier.

Poitier won the Best Actor Academy Award for playing an itinerant handyman who encounters German refugee nuns living in the Arizona desert, and helps them build a chapel.

Come enjoy the film in our newly renovated Salem Family Auditorium, with comfortable new seats and improved acoustics.
