An Afternoon of Paddington with Illustrator R.W. Alley

Rated PG (2017) 1 hour 43 minutes

In celebration of Paddington Bear's 60th Anniversary, follow his transition from the page to the Big Screen.  Bring paper and pencil - or crayons and markers - and draw along with illustrator R. W. Alley as he draws and describes working with Paddington's creator, Michael Bond, over the last twenty years to create over forty books about the bear's adventures. We'll do some character drawing of Paddington, the people - and other bears - in his world and of the silent, yet really big character in all the stories, London. In all, Mr. Alley will hope to reveal a bit of the backstory of this iconic storyline. Then, settle in and watch the newest Paddington film - Paddington 2 - and see how the characters from the books are presented as movie characters. Maybe, you'll come up with your own Paddington story?
