Reading in the Kitchen: A Cookbook Club

A book club for those who like to read cookbooks and enjoy a community meal.

The group meets monthly on the third Monday night of the month from 6:30 to 8 pm. Participants are asked to bring a dish to share from that month’s cookbook and their own table setting. 

Registration is required. Space is limited.

This month's cookbook theme is African Cuisine and includes the following titles:

  • The Africa Cookbook: Tastes of a Continent  by Jessica Harris (1998)
  • The Soul of a New Cuisine : A Discovery of the Foods and Flavors of Africa  by Marcus Samuelsson (2006)
  • Afro-Vegan: Farm-Fresh African, Caribbean & Southern Flavors Remixed  by Bryant Terry (2014)
