Community Training by Day One

This is a community training presented by Day One, the Sexual Assault and Trauma Center, on the emerging issue of child pornography/child sexual abuse material and online child exploitation. It is an opportunity for East Bay community members to learn about the unique dynamics and prevalence of child pornography and sextortion, victim impact, offender behaviors, online safety, and the new state protocol developed by the Rhode Island Human Trafficking Task Force to ensure victim safety and access to services. This training will also touch upon concerns of teen sexting, how this differs from child pornography, and the appropriate response guided by the Rhode Island state sexting statute.

The training will last approximately 2 hours and include Q&A.
