This is a film of the Fringe Festival Production of AWAKENINGS- Stories of 9 Different Faiths in RI. The Bay Spring Community Center first sponsored the original in April of 2019 and then it was produced at The Wilbury Theatre in July 2019. Nine actors were hired to share the stories of people in RI whose stories were personal and profound. Ms. Collyer recorded the interviews and then created an imagined meeting of all nine people. The script which emerged was taken from their exact recorded words yet broken into dialogue. Accumulatively a sharing of what the Divine IS took place.
