Be a part of the 40th Annual Meeting of the Friends of Barrington Public Library from the comfort of your own home, with a Zoom meeting at 1:30 pm on Sunday, October 25.
The new board will be introduced, with Janine Connelly as president, Bill Dwyer and Nancy Brex as co-vice presidents, Chuck Van Sluyter as treasurer, and Cindy Pierce as secretary.
We will welcome Janet Richardson as a new board member and bid adieu to retiring directors Lynn Kelly and Patricia Keefe.
Sorry, there will be no entertainment or refreshments afterwards, but you could always ask Alexa for a little Evita soundtrack and serve your own wine and cheese while sitting on your sofa. Being stuck at home has its benefits! Please toast the Friends and our 40th Anniversary, which has been superseded by events beyond our control. We will celebrate together someday.
