Website Design: Week 1

Website Design: A 3-Week Workshop

Whether you're designing a small business website or a personal blog, learn how to determine which website builder is best for you. This 3-week workshop will help you choose a website builder, learn how to work within the builder's scope, and create a website ready to publish. We will look at a variety of website builders from free to paid, and give you the tools you'll need to make a worthwhile choice.

For the workshop, we will design a website using one of two website builders, Weebly and Wix. Each website builder has both free and paid options. By the end of the workshop, you could have a basic website ready to publish then or in the near future. Basic computer and online skills are necessary for this class.

Registration is required and for all 3 weeks. Space is limited. Register below, or contact the Reference Desk at 401-247-1920 x2. If you choose to bring your laptop, please include your computer's operating system in the form below.

Register for either Tuesdays at 10 am, May 7 thru 21 OR Thursdays at 6:30 pm, May 9 thru 23.

This tech class is being taught twice in October: a morning and an evening class. Please register for one option to allow more people to attend. Sign up for a Tech Help Desk session if you wish to have additional one-on-one instruction.
