Join librarian Doug Swiszcz for another of his lecture series on classic movies, this one highlighting real life couples who performed together on screen.

L.A. private eye Philip Marlowe (Bogart) takes on a blackmail case and follows a trail peopled by murderers, pornographers, nightclub rogues, and the spoiled rich. Marlowe is hired to protect a young woman and in the process, he falls in love with the woman's older sister (Bacall).
