Mon, 11/30/2009 - 1:27pm -- JDavanza

GONE WITH THE WIND

Come enjoy one of Hollywood’s great classic movies, Gone With The Wind, on Saturday, December 5, 2009, starting at 11:00 AM.

The film, which is being presented in glorious, high definition clarity, will be shown in two parts, separated by a one-hour lunch intermission.

Act One, which is to be preceded by commentary by librarian and film enthusiast Doug Swiszcz, will end at approximately 1:00 PM. Everyone is invited to bring a “brown bag lunch” with them, to eat in our lovely Gallery, located adjacent to the auditorium. Complimentary soft drinks and chips/pretzels will be provided. Music from the soundtrack to Ken Burns’ Civil War miniseries will be played to provide the proper ambience during lunch.

After lunch, at 2:00 PM, Act Two of the movie will be shown.

The program should conclude at approximately 4:15 PM.

Free and open to all.

We hope to see you all there.
