Barrington Public Library - Where You Belong
Barrington Public Library is one of Rhode Island's most widely used libraries, ranking #1 in card holders per capita. Public funding provides for day-to-day operation, and community support allows us to flourish and grow. Here are ways you can help.
The Barrington Public Library Foundation holds a yearly drive (November-December) to help raise the private funds necessary to cover the cost of library enhancements and capital projects not covered by local tax revenue. Donations are accepted year-round.
Memorials or Tributes*- Donations in the form of a memorial or tribute offer family and friends a meaningful way to remember or celebrate a loved one.
*Please contact the Library Director for more information about these options: Kristen Chin, 401-247-1920 x305 or director@barringtonlibrary.org.
The Friends support more than 80% of library programs through memberships and book sales.
Book Donations - The Friends accept book donations on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm behind the library at the book donation door. Please leave donations in either bags or boxes. Please do not leave books outside the book donation door.
