Museum Passes

We recently acquired discount tickets to the Gamm Theatre in Warwick. Tickets are first-come, first-served. Scroll down or contact the Reference Desk for more information. 


Barrington Public Library offers free or reduced admission to museums and cultural attractions around southern New England thanks to the generosity of the Friends of Barrington Public Library.

Procedure for Museum Pass Use

  • Have a valid Ocean State Libraries library card to reserve a museum pass
  • Passes may be reserved up to two (2) weeks in advance either by person, by phone or through the library website
  • Each family is allowed no more than two (2) different passes per week during vacation weeks and holiday periods
  • Each family is allowed to check out no more than two (2) passes on any given day. One pass per institution.
  • Returnable passes are due back to the Library by 9 am the day after use
  • Patrons are responsible for replacement of lost passes; cost varies for each museum
  • Museum hours vary or change without notice.

Open: Thursday thru Sunday, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The trails and pollinator garden remain open to all to enjoy from dawn to dusk.
Closed: Monday thru Wednesday. Center is closed major holidays.

101 Ferry Rd, Bristol


The Mansion: Closed for the season.
The Gardens & Grounds: Wednesday thru Sunday, 12 pm to 4 pm. Closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Blithewold will occasionally close early for Special Events and major holidays.

With Pass: 6 people at $7 per adult and $2 per youth ages 6-17. Reserve and pick up library pass before visiting the museum. Receive discount and pay at the museum. Not valid for Programs, Family Fun Fridays, Fairy Festival, Sparkle, and Christmas at Blithewold.

Open: TIMED TICKET ENTRY on Wednesday thru Sunday, 9 am to 12 pm and 1:30 to 4:30 pm. Opens at 12 pm on New Year's Day.
Closed: Monday & Tuesday. Thanksgiving and Christmas. Closes at 3 pm on Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve. Closes at 5 pm on Free Fun Friday.

With Pass: E-ticket pass. Admits up to 4 (adults or children) at half price per person. Wednesdays thru Saturdays only. Must first reserve a dated library pass. Please provide your email address to receive the discount code. Contact the library if you do not receive the code. Then, follow the procedure below.


Instructions for using Library Membership Discount Coupons:

After receiving a library discount coupon from the library, reserve your visit online with Boston Children’s Museum. Due to safety measures, walk-ins are not allowed. Museum capacity is limited at this time.

  • Reserve and acquire a dated coupon from their library.
  • Visit
  • Review the directions for timed tickets.
  • Click on the "Discount Programs" & drop down arrow.
  • Click on "Half Price Library Timed Ticket" to book.
  • NEW - PlaySpace Exhibit Reservations. Online reservations are required to visit PlaySpace.
  • The date on the Library Discount Coupon must match the date of your visit.
  • Once arriving at the Museum, proceed to the Admissions Scanning Station with your online reservation and the date specific Library Discount Coupon received from the library. You can present these digitally on a device or as a paper print out.

Museum Policy: Children younger than 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults unaccompanied by children must leave proper photo identification at the Admissions Desk. Examples: State Driver’s License or Passport.

About the play: Judge Peyton is dead and his plantation, Terrebonne, is in financial ruins. Open: TIMED TICKET ENTRY. Tuesday thru Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Advance reservations are required.
Closed: Major holidays. Close early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.


With Pass: FREE for 2 adults and any children under 18. Includes the Fogg Museum, the Busch-Reisinger Museum, and the Arthur M. Sackler Museum. Please be prepared to show the library pass for free admission upon arrival.

26 Harbor Shore Dr, Boston, MA


Open: TIMED TICKET ENTRY. Tuesday & Wednesday 10 am - 5 pm; Thursday & Friday 10 am - 9 pm; Saturday & Sunday 10 am - 5 pm. Open on MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day.
Closed: Mondays. Closed on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

With Pass: $5 per person up to 2 people. Reserve your library pass for the day you wish to visit the museum. Purchase your tickets on the ICA website and select "Library Pass Coupon." Pick up your library pass. You will need to show the library pass at the ICA Visitor Services desk to use our discount for museum admission.

Free Thursday Nights: Admission is FREE for all every Thursday from 5 to 9 pm during ICA Free Thursday Nights. Timed tickets are required for free days and nights. Timed tickets for Free Thursday Nights become available at 10 am the morning of.

Open: TIMED TICKET ENTRY ONLY. Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 11 am to 5 pm. Thursday, 11 am to 9 pm. Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. All tickets will be sold for a specific entry time. Please arrive no more than five minutes ahead of your designated time slot. Open: MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day.
Closed: Tuesdays. Closed on New Year's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (open until 3 pm), Christmas, and Patriots' Day.

With Pass: $5 per person up to four (4) people over 18. Children under the age of 18 are admitted free. Library passholders must claim a printed, dated pass from their library, which will include a special promo code. This code can only be redeemed for the day you have reserved. On ISGM website for purchasing tickets, please enter the promo code first to receive the discount, then select the day and time of your visit.


Effective January 15, as mandated by the City of Boston, all visitors and event attendees ages 12+ are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon entry. As of January 15, people ages 12+ must show proof of one dose of vaccine, and after February 15, proof of full vaccination.

Open: TIMED TICKET ENTRY ONLY. Thursday thru Monday, 10 am to 5 pm. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing.
Closed: Tuesdays and Wednesdays. New Year's Day, Patriots' Day, July 4, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. 

With Pass: $10 per person for 2 adults. Must reserve a pass with library first to receive special code before purchasing a ticket to the museum. Please include your email address when reserving a library pass. There are no on-site ticket sales at the museum. When you go to the MFA website to purchase your tickets, you will click "Tickets" then choose your date and click the red "Tickets" button for General Admission. You will then enter the special code into the promo code box and hit submit. You will then be able to choose your entry time and complete check out.

Science Park, Boston, MA


Open: TIMED TICKET ENTRY ONLY. Daily, 9 am to 5 pm.
Closed: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Staff Appreciation Day (Sept 7). The Museum also closes at 2 pm on Thanksgiving Eve and Christmas Eve.

With Pass: 50% off general admission for up to 4 people. Valid only for the Exhibit Hall.


Instructions: First, reserve a library pass for the date you plan to visit the Museum. Your email confirmation from the library serves as your pass but you must call the Museum to reserve a timed ticket once you have the confirmation from the Library.

1.     Call the Museum of Science at 617-723-2500 (daily, 9 am to 5 pm) to reserve your timed tickets. Up to 4 people are admitted at a 50% discount off of Exhibit Hall admission prices only with each pass and Children under 3 are always free but must have a timed ticket.

2.     Please call at least 1-2 days ahead of time to reserve your time otherwise the Museum might be fully booked. Your pass can only be used on the date printed on the pass. You will need to provide the name of the library and library number (printed on your reservation) plus the date of your pass. 

3.     After you make your reservation, the Museum will send you an email confirmation with your reservation time.  Please bring both your library pass confirmation and your email confirmation from the Museum when you visit.

4.     Show both confirmations at the gate to enter. You do not need to stop at the Box Office.


If you are not able to show your Library confirmation on a phone:

1.     Please request a paper copy of your confirmation at the library.

2.     Follow steps 1-3 above to reserve your timed ticket and request to pick up your tickets at the Box Office when you arrive. Please write down your ticket confirmation number and bring that and your library confirmation with you to the Museum.

3.     Go to the Box Office and provide your name, name of the library, and timed ticket confirmation number. The Box Office will give you tickets. Proceed to the gate with your tickets.

Open: Thursday thru Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm. Last hour (4-5 pm) is half price. Last entry 30 minutes before closing.
Closed: Thanksgiving & Christmas. Winter hours vary. Please check museum website for up-to-date information.


With Pass: 50% off admission for 2 adults and 3 youth (3-17). Free under age 2. Library Pass accepted in-person only. Do not purchase tickets ahead of time as they're unable to apply the discount. Visit website for Special Discounts, including Active Duty Members.

18 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford, MA


Open: TIMED TICKET ENTRY ONLY. Tuesday thru Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm.
Closed: Mondays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year's Day. 


With Pass: 50% off regular admission up to 4 people. Reserve and pick up the library pass and then present the pass when checking in at the museum's front desk. You do not need to make advanced reservations for the museum.

76 Bellevue Ave, Newport

Open: Tuesday thru Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm; Sunday, 12 pm to 5 pm. Open on Presidents' Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Closed: Mondays. Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve (at 1 pm) and New Year's Day.


With Pass: FREE for 2 adults and 2 children under age 18. FREE for youth up to 17.

583 Third Beach Rd, Middletown


Open: Daily, 9 am to 5 pm (year round). All buildings – including the Welcome Center and public restrooms – are closed to the public.

Closed: Thanksgiving & Christmas. The trails are closed for Harvest Fair weekend. In the event of inclement weather, closings will mirror the Middletown Public School system.


With Pass: Free admission for 6 people. Buy trail passes online or by phone before hiking. Guests can also pay cash for passes using the donation box provided outside the main entrance of the Welcome Center.

Reservations required. Reserve pass with the library first. Then, visit and select Complimentary Admissions when prompted. You will need to present the library pass at the museum.

Open: TIMED TICKET ENTRY ONLY. Open Thursday thru Monday, 10 am to 4 pm. Last admission is always 30 minutes prior to closing. Open on Providence school holidays and vacation weeks. All tickets must be purchased online in advance. 
Closed: Thanksgiving; December 24 and December 25. 


With Pass: $3 off admission each up to 4 people (any combination of adults, seniors, and children). Not valid for fundraising exhibits or special events. Make a reservation for the day you plan to visit the zoo. Please provide your email address to receive the discount code. Contact the library if you do not receive the code. Then, follow the procedure below.


How to Redeem the Library Discount:

  2. Select the date and timeslot of your visit.
  3. Select the type and quantity of tickets.
  4. Enter the library discount code and hit apply.

The mission of this non-profit World War II Foundation is to produce educational films and create initiatives recognizing the bravery and enormous contributions made by the veterans and survivors of World War II, including education and preservation of materials honoring individual or collective triumphs during WWII.
