He will feature female instrumentalists who have traditionally been ignored and discriminated against throughout history and will offer musical examples of some of the most significant individuals, including Mary Osborne, Lil Armstrong and Anat Cohen.

Please join the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General, Elder Abuse Unit, in coordination with the US Attorney for the District of Rhode Island, for a presentation on the topic of elder abuse. Topics include consumer protection issues, including ways to protect yourself from scams and identity theft, red flags of elder abuse including, physical abuse, emotional abuse and elder financial exploitation.
A book club for those who like to read cookbooks and enjoy a community meal.
The group meets monthly on the third Monday night of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a dish to share from that month’s cookbook and their own table setting.
