Vera Kurmasheva and Zhanat Baidaralin, founders and co-directors of Ballet Prestige, the Russian Style Ballet Studio in Bristol, RI, arrived at Barrington Public Library this morning along with a dedicated cadre of volunteers to set our stage for the school's upcoming spring performance on Saturday, May 30 at 2:00 PM.
Tomorrow afternoon they’ll be rehearsing, and then two days later will be the big day. We hope to capture the event in photos and to post them here next week.
It’s a different look from the unassuming stage that we’re used to seeing. Ballet Prestige has turned it into something quite dramatic and lush, and happily, their performance on Saturday promises to be the same.
