Find out what happens in the library after hours! Drop off your favorite stuffed animal in the Kids Room on Wednesday, February 20 between 10 am and 2 pm. Only 20 sleeping bags are available so register quickly. We promise to take extra special care of your treasured friends until you're reunited in the morning. Enjoy an exclusive breakfast while watching a slideshow of their adventures.
Eat breakast with your teddy and see what adventures they encountered on their library sleepover. Pajamas are welcome. This program is open only to those whose bears slept over at the library.
Kids will create stuffed felt penguins in this simple sewing class with Karen Katin of Stitchery RI. Individual instruction and supplies are provided, no experience needed. Recommended for ages 8+. Winter is a great time to get outside and see some of the art and beauty of nature. A winter scavenger hunt at Osamequin Nature Preserve will help you and your family enjoy the outdoors and help sharpen your observation skills. Participants will be provided with a list of items and observations to search for during the approximately 1.5 mile walk along the west shore of Barrington’s Hundred Acre Cove.
